ISCAR 2020

Dear friends of ISCAR community,
The date of the 6th ISCAR Congress, in Brazil, with the theme Cultural-Historical Activity Research facing crisis contexts: challenges and perspectives, is coming.
Since COVID-19 pandemic still poses a threat for travelling and in-presence meetings gathering many people together, the Organizing Committee and the ISCAR International confirm that the 6th ISCAR Congress will be held remotely and online, during the previously informed period from 2 to 7 August 2021. Be aware that all recommended measures are being taken in order to provide virtual rooms and adapt the schedule to the new format. More operational details will be sent soon.
It is emphasized here that all previously approved works are kept on, and that their authors must pay their registration fee until April 19, 2021, in order to ensure their attendance in the event program.
We strongly advise that the accepted works to be presented during the remote meeting promote reflection on the challenging context in which we have been living, comprising isolation, losses of human lives, increased inequality. In other words, we encourage all of you to dully take into account the theme of our 6th ISCAR Meeting - Cultural-Historical Activity Research facing crisis contexts: challenges and perspectives - and try to contribute to the analysis about effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Local Organizing Committee is arranging a roundtable to specifically discuss this topic.
We would finally inform this community that Professor Adriane Cenci left the Chair role of this event, and Professor Jorge Tarcísio da Rocha Falcão has taken over her place.
We thank Professor Cenci for her fantastic job until now, and Professor Da Rocha Falcão for accepting to take over.
We hope getting together soon, even in a remote way, sharing our researches and reflections.
Yours sincerely,

ISCAR Organizing Committee
