CALL FOR PROPOSALS: 6TH ISCAR CONGRESS

  • The proposal must adhere to one of the themes of the Event
  • Proposals can be submitted for poster, for paper or for symposium.
  • Each proposal can have a maximum of 3 authors. (For symposium, the limit of 3 authors is for each paper that composes the symposium)
  • Each participant can submit up to 2 proposals.
  • Proposals must be submitted in English. Presentation will be also in English.

Guidelines

POSTER AND PAPER

The proposal must contain:

  1. Abstract, according to the following standards: up to 2000 characters (with spaces), Times New Roman 12 font, single spacing, justified. Title in upper case, followed by the list of authors, affiliation, and e-mail. Three keywords must be indicated. The abstract should be sent in .doc or .docx. Please, download the template here.
  2. Supplementary text with further details to the abstract. It can be an unpublished text with up to 35000 characters (with spaces), or an article submitted that has been published or not. Authors must inform if the proposal has been published or submitted to a journal. The supplemetary text should be sent in .doc or .docx. Please, download the template here.
 
SYMPOSIUM

The submission of a symposium involves 3 to 4 papers about the same topic by researchers from different institutions. 

The institutions can be from the same or from different countries.

The chair person is the one that submits the symposium.

It is necessary to submit an abstract and a supplementary text for each paper and an abstract articulating the discussion.

The proposal must contain:

  1. Abstracts: Present the symposium abstract followed by the papers’ abstracts. All the abstracts must consider the standards: up to 2000 characters (with spaces), Times New Roman 12 font, single spacing, justified. Title in upper case, followed by the list of authors, affiliation, and e-mail. Three keywords must be indicated. The abstract should be sent in .doc or .docx. Please, download the template here.
  2. Supplementary texts with further details to each abstract. There is no supplementary text for the symposium abstract that articulates the discussion. The texts can be an unpublished, with up to 35000 characters (with spaces), or articles submitted that have been published or not. Authors must inform if the article has been published or submitted to a journal. The supplementary texts should be sent in .doc or .docx. Please, download the template here

 

  • Only abstracts will be published – Book of abstracts.
  • Supplementary texts are mandatory.
  • It is not necessary to pay the registration fee for the proposal submission. However, for the presentation of the work and for the publication of the abstracts, the payment of the registration is mandatory for at least one of the authors.
    • For symposium it is necessary payment of, at least, one author of each paper.
